Everything Your Pallets Need
A pallet is only part of the equation. The right accessories protect your products, improve stacking stability, and reduce damage claims. We supply the complete ecosystem of pallet accessories to keep your supply chain running smoothly.
Pallet Collars
Pallet collars are hinged wooden frames that sit on top of a standard pallet to create a sturdy, stackable box without the need for separate crating. Made from kiln-dried lumber with galvanized steel hinges at each corner, collars fold flat for return shipping and compact storage. They can be stacked up to five high to accommodate different load heights, transforming any flat pallet into a versatile container.
Common Applications
Automotive parts, electronics, agricultural products, pharmaceutical distribution, manufacturing work-in-progress, and international shipping where goods need side containment.
Key Benefits
- Stackable — add multiple collars for taller loads
- Fold flat for efficient return and storage
- Replace single-use cardboard boxes
- Available in all standard pallet sizes
- Galvanized hinges for long service life
Top Frames & Caps
Top frames, also known as pallet caps or lids, provide a flat, protective surface on top of a palletized load. They distribute stacking pressure evenly across the top of the load, preventing crush damage to products when pallets are stacked in warehouses or trailers. Made from plywood, solid lumber, or composite panels, top frames ensure load integrity during multi-tier storage.
Common Applications
Warehouses with stacked pallet storage, distribution centers, cold storage facilities, and any application where pallets are stacked more than two high.
Key Benefits
- Prevent crush damage during stacking
- Distribute weight evenly across load surface
- Enable safe multi-tier pallet stacking
- Protect goods from dust and moisture
- Available in standard and custom sizes
Pallet Covers & Wraps
Pallet covers protect goods from dust, moisture, rain, UV exposure, and contamination during storage and transit. We offer reusable woven poly covers, single-use poly sheeting, and insulated thermal covers for temperature-sensitive cargo. Covers are available in standard pallet dimensions and can be custom-sized for oversized or non-standard loads.
Common Applications
Outdoor yards, dock staging areas, cold chain logistics, food and beverage distribution, and seasonal storage of weather-sensitive inventory.
Key Benefits
- Weatherproof protection for outdoor storage
- Thermal insulation for temperature-sensitive goods
- Dust and contamination barrier
- Reusable options reduce packaging waste

Corner Protectors
Corner protectors — also called edge guards or angle boards — reinforce the vertical edges of palletized loads during strapping and stretch wrapping. Made from compressed recycled paperboard, solid cardboard, or plastic, they prevent strap indentation, box corner crushing, and load shift. Corner protectors are essential for maintaining load integrity on wrapped pallets, especially when loads are unitized with steel or poly strapping.
Common Applications
Any stretch-wrapped or strapped pallet load, especially corrugated cartons, paper rolls, lumber bundles, and fragile consumer products.
Key Benefits
- Prevent strapping from cutting into products
- Reinforce load edges against impact
- Improve stretch wrap retention
- Reduce product damage claims
- Available in L-shape and U-shape profiles
Dunnage & Blocking
Dunnage refers to the lumber, foam, or airbag materials used to fill voids, separate layers, and secure cargo within or between palletized loads. We supply both new and recycled dunnage lumber cut to your specifications, as well as inflatable dunnage bags for securing freight in trailers. Proper dunnage eliminates load shift, absorbs vibration, and protects goods from in-transit damage.
Common Applications
Flatbed trucking, intermodal container shipping, heavy machinery transport, steel and metal coil shipping, and any load that requires void fill or lateral bracing.
Key Benefits
- Fills voids to prevent load shift
- Separates product layers safely
- Absorbs vibration during transport
- Custom cut to any dimension
- Available in new and recycled lumber
Pallet Spacers & Shims
Pallet spacers and shims are thin wooden boards placed between product layers on a pallet to distribute weight and prevent nesting or interlocking of goods. Shims are also used to level uneven pallet surfaces and create uniform stacking platforms. We cut spacers from recycled pallet lumber, offering an economical and sustainable solution for load stabilization.
Common Applications
Bag stacking, irregular-shaped products, produce crates, and any application where product layers need separation or where the pallet deck is uneven.
Key Benefits
- Create uniform layers for stable stacking
- Prevent product nesting and interlocking
- Level uneven pallet deck surfaces
- Cut from recycled lumber for sustainability

Pallet Collar Stacking System Explained
Pallet collars are one of the most versatile and cost-effective packaging innovations in modern logistics. Here is everything you need to know about how they work, their load-bearing properties, and why they are replacing traditional crating in supply chains worldwide.
How Collar Stacking Works
Each pallet collar is a rectangular wooden frame with galvanized steel hinges at all four corners. The collar sits directly on the pallet deck (or on top of a previously placed collar) and creates a rigid, freestanding wall around the pallet perimeter. The hinges allow the collar to fold flat when not in use, reducing its storage footprint by 75%.
Multiple collars stack on top of each other to create a taller container. Each collar adds approximately 7.5 inches (200mm) of wall height. Stack two collars for 15 inches, three for 22.5 inches, four for 30 inches, or five for 37.5 inches of containment height. The steel hinges interlock with the collar below, preventing lateral shifting and creating a secure, self-aligning system.
Weight & Load Specifications
Advantages Over Traditional Crating
- Cost Savings: Collars are reusable for 10+ years, while custom crates are typically single-use. Over 50 shipments, collars cost roughly $0.40 per use versus $15 to $50 per use for a one-way crate.
- Storage Efficiency: Folded collars stack in 1/4 the space of assembled crates. A stack of 20 folded collars occupies the same floor space as a single pallet.
- Labor Savings: A worker can assemble a 4-collar system in under 30 seconds — no tools required. Building a custom crate takes 15 to 30 minutes with a nail gun.
- Adjustable Height: Unlike fixed crates, collars let you adjust container height in 7.5-inch increments by adding or removing collars. One collar size fits multiple product heights.
- Product Access: Collars fold down on any side for easy loading, inspection, and picking — no need to remove the entire top panel like with a nailed crate.
- Return Shipping: Folded collars take up 75% less trailer space on return trips, dramatically reducing reverse logistics costs compared to returning empty crates.
- Sustainability: Collars are made from kiln-dried lumber and steel hinges — both fully recyclable. Their long lifespan reduces wood consumption by 90% compared to single-use crates.
Protective Packaging Solutions
The pallet is the platform — but protecting your products during transit requires the right combination of wrapping, cushioning, and barrier materials. Here is a detailed guide to every protective packaging solution we supply and recommend.
Stretch Wrap Film
Machine-grade and hand-grade stretch film in 70, 80, and 90 gauge thicknesses. Stretch wrap unitizes palletized loads by binding cartons and products to the pallet with tension. Applied in a spiral pattern, stretch wrap provides 200 to 300% elongation, conforming tightly to irregular load shapes. Machine-applied wrap uses 20 to 30% less film than hand wrapping and provides more consistent tension. We recommend 80-gauge for most loads (10 to 20 wraps around the load) and 90-gauge for heavy or irregular loads.
Shrink Wrap (Heat Shrink)
Polyolefin and polyethylene shrink film that conforms to the load when heated with a heat gun or shrink tunnel. Unlike stretch wrap, shrink wrap provides a sealed enclosure that protects against dust, moisture, and tampering. Commonly used for bundling smaller items on pallets (beverage multipacks, boxed sets) and for weatherproofing outdoor storage pallets. Shrink wrap is available in flat sheets (for top covering) and centerfold rolls (for full encapsulation).
Edge Protectors & Angle Boards
L-shaped or U-shaped protectors made from compressed recycled paperboard, solid plastic, or formed steel. They reinforce the vertical corners of palletized loads, preventing strap indentation, stretch wrap slippage, and corner crushing. Standard sizes range from 2x2 inches to 4x4 inches, in lengths from 24 to 96 inches. We stock paperboard edge protectors in thicknesses from 0.120 to 0.250 inches — thicker boards provide more protection but cost 30 to 50% more.
Anti-Slip Sheets
Paper or plastic sheets with a textured or coated surface that sits between product layers on a pallet, preventing horizontal shifting during transport. Anti-slip sheets increase the coefficient of friction between cartons from approximately 0.3 (plain cardboard) to 0.7 or higher. This dramatically reduces the need for stretch wrap — some operations eliminate stretch wrap entirely by using anti-slip sheets between every layer. Available in kraft, clay-coated, and rubberized finishes.
Moisture Barrier Films
Polyethylene sheeting, foil-laminated barriers, and desiccant packs that protect moisture-sensitive products during ocean shipping and outdoor storage. Standard moisture barriers are 4-mil to 6-mil poly sheeting draped over the pallet and sealed with tape or heat. For high-value electronics and metal parts, we supply foil-poly laminate bags with desiccant packs that maintain internal relative humidity below 30%. These barriers are critical for Phoenix-to-port shipments where products transition from our dry desert climate to humid coastal conditions.
VCI Paper & Film (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor)
Specialized paper and poly film infused with volatile corrosion inhibitor compounds that protect ferrous and non-ferrous metal parts from rust and oxidation during storage and shipping. VCI molecules vaporize from the paper surface and form an invisible protective layer on metal surfaces within the enclosed space. No oil coatings, grease, or desiccants needed — simply wrap or interleave metal parts with VCI paper. Protection lasts 12 to 24 months in sealed packaging. Available in sheets, rolls, and custom-cut sizes for specific parts.
Custom Wood Products from Recycled Pallet Lumber
Not every board is destined for another pallet. Our craftsmen transform character-rich reclaimed pallet wood into functional, beautiful products. Each piece carries the natural patina, grain variation, and story of its previous life.
Raised Garden Beds
Built from heat-treated pallet lumber to ensure safe soil contact, our raised garden beds come in standard sizes (4x4, 4x8, and 3x6 feet) and custom dimensions. Each bed is 12 to 18 inches deep, lined with landscape fabric, and assembled with exterior-grade screws for longevity. Corners are reinforced with steel L-brackets. The heat-treated wood is safe for growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers — no chemical preservatives are used. Beds typically last 4 to 6 years in Arizona's dry climate before showing significant weathering.
